My name is Ilham Kabbouri, I am currently studying for an L.L.M. in International and Comparative Commercial Law. I am originally from Morocco but I was born and raised in Belgium where I completed my L.L.B. and L.L.M. in European Law at the Université Catholique de Louvain.
Having a strong interest in International Commercial Arbitration , I decided to take part in The Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. As a key member of the SOAS Team, I focused on our submissions relating to the jurisdictional issues and more specifically the ICC Provisions on the Emergency Arbitration. Now that we have handed in the written submissions, I enjoy taking part in our pre-moots which help us develop our presentation and advocacy skills in preparation for Vienna.
After graduation, I plan to practice in International Commercial Arbitration and International Investment Arbitration with a special focus on Africa.
